Computational Linguistics Basics
Computational Linguistics falls under the category of artificial intelligence. More accurately, it is the study of taking written and spoken languages and looking at them from a computational perspective. This means that you take computational models and combine them with different languages. An example would be a online translator. The online translator is using computational model and combines them with certain languages, depending on the user's preference. This carries onto what computational linguistics is used for. This science is used to build systems that relate to speech such as speech recognition, translations, interactive voice responses, and more. Now this is just the basics of computational linguistics. If you would like more information on computational linguistics I recommend Stanford's website which I have attached below. Bye.
